We have conducted the most in depth research we have found on the Internet about prices of registering domain names. Of course, price isn’t everything, so make sure you stick with companies that are well known. We have not listed any companies that actually offer domain names for less than they pay for it, its obvious something isn’t right – be it you have to buy hosting as well, buy more than one year etc. All prices are for one year, unless specified. Any stupidly priced registrars (for example $20 for a .com or more) are not listed either.
Prices include vat, tax etc, and are for those who buy one or two at a time, not in bulk. We may have made a mistake, as they might add on tax in the checkout – we didn’t process any orders here. So let us know of any mistakes. Read more to see the guide…

So there you have it. If you know of any other registrars that are cheaper for a certain TLD, or want us to find the cheapest place for another TLD, just leave a comment.

[...] Right so you have a host. You will now want a domain. I suggest that you get whois protection. Sites such as domainsite.com or regfly.com (or pretty much any domain registrar – you may want to read this post about cheapest registrars) all allow you to get whois protection. Whois protection stops people easily finding out your name/address. I’m not going to guide you through registering a domain as it isn’t exactly hard… Just find a nice sounding domain. Or a spammy one for seo purposes (not too spammy though…). Ok so you have a host that allows adult content (pornography), and a domain. Now I’ll guide you step by step for several types of porn sites. [...]
